Picacross PRO Almost Ready 01/12/2009

We've been hard at work on the features the community has asked for and are almost ready to release Picacross PRO. We are currently polishing things up and taking in any feedback you might have. Along with it's release, we will be launching Picacross.com which will have live stats and leaderboards, so get your puzzles in now!

Please leave a comment if you would like to see your ideas implemented in the next version.

Picacross is one of my favorite games to play on the G1. It's the kind of addicting game that not only challenges your mind, but never gets boring because you can always download more puzzles to solve.

I just have 1 request: Like most people, if there are more than 5 numbers for a row, I would like the rest of the numbers shown, not just 5 numbers.

Other than that, the game is well polished, has no bugs, and really needs no other updates.

This game is great fun and I look forward to the new releases. The only issues I have are:

1) The game doesn't handle process switching in Android. A guaranteed way to make this game crash is:
step 1- Load Picacross
step 2- Press the home button
step 3- Load Picacross. You'll get the error "The application Picacross (process com.android.hspain) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"

This is mainly an issue when I want to take a phone call or look something up quick using the browser, then want to continue the game where I left off.

2) There's no ability to delete downloaded puzzles. There may be a puzzle I just don't want to play or keep around.

Thanks for the input, guys. The too many numbers issue has been resolved in our in house version and will be released soon.

Along with that is a fix for the game crashes. When Picacross Pro is released, we'll release a fairly large update to the free version as well that will fix many of these problems users have been reporting.

Love the Game. But I'll throw a couple of requests for the ability to see how people rated the puzzles I create. Also from the main menu there should be an exit button. It's a pain to have to load a puzzle before being given the option to exit the game.

If you go to Settings / My Puzzles, it will show you your puzzles and how other rated them.

As far as exiting the game goes, you can exit at any time by pressing the "Home" button, but I will look into adding an Exit option on the main menu.

How do I go about downloading picacross pro? I've searched the market but can't seem to find it?
